We made crystals and shrinky-dinks , here is how to make the crystals:
Here is my persuasive essay for NOT Wearing School Uniforms: I hope you like it! Here is my powtoon for my inquiry on Pearl Harbor: I hope you like it! #Bookitforward
"Kid President" made a video about "Booking it forward" and it's about telling other people about the books that matter to us and you share them to other people. So here is my book that I am sharing, and I am sharing it to my best friends Rylee, Katie, and Ella, because it really matters to me and it made me think differently about some people. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yew4LvfVxVU Here is a document about Virginia Dare and her diary. (My take on it) (Not all things might be true) At the end it says "Goo" and that is because she did not finish her sentence. Here it is:
Virginia Dare’s diary: 11:27 a.m. Sept. 23 1587 Dear diary, Today Sir Walter Raleigh sent 100 settlers to the colony of Roanoke. Did I never tell you I am in Roanoke? Well, whatever anyone told you, I am in Roanoke. I live here. As I was saying 100 settlers came here. They are skilled farmers and hard workers, as I am told. I am happy to see people here again, it is exciting for me. I hope Roanoke will keep growing to be a large town, like the ones with people walking their dogs in the streets, talking to people, and buying grapefruit, and blueberries. Yes, that will be the day. When I walk on the dirt paths it is cracked from the lack of rain, it seems too empty to be real. It’s like a fairytale. I hope things will lighten up soon, I am worried about what lies a-head. Fade out 2:03 P.m. December 4th late 1590 Dear diary, I can’t believe it’s been three years since I last wrote. Come to think of it, when I last wrote to you, was when Sir Walter Raleigh left. Now he is back, finally. I am excited. But, I live in fear, things are changing in this world, things I can not explain. I am leaving this here for you to read. I am remarkably sad, but things need to be done. I am leaving now, for good. So, this is it, I am just going to say it, goo I did not do much for Thanksgiving this year. I just stayed home and practiced my Trombone. My Grandma and Grandpa came to visit while looking for a house because they are going to buy one. They looked for a long time (at houses) and found the one they liked. They got the house they wanted so they are going to movie here soon. On Thanksgiving we did not have turkey. :( I was sad. So, I just stayed home with my Grandma and Grandpa.
Also, Happy Christmas!! :) This is a short movie I made about European Colonization, Jamestown, Plymouth, and Roanoke. Here is the video: This is what I did this weekend: On Friday after school, I went to my friend's house for a sleepover. Once I got to her house we watched TV and played games. Once her mom and dad got home we got ready to go to a concert with "Danielle Bradbery" and "Scotty Mccreey". When we were in the car we listened to music while we waited for the traffic to move. We got there 1 hour early because her mom had the work the concession stand. My friend and I had to get 4 big buckets of ice and when the ice came down it almost hit us, twice. My friend also found neighbor who was working there and he toke her and put her in the trash can head first.
When the concert started we were going to take pictures of Danielle Bradbery but her phone died so her mom toke some pictures. We had front row seats (Standing concert) right next to the sound auto and it sent out cold blasted of air (Which felt good) and vibrated in our ears. When it was over we had to help clean up the concession stand. That was fun... When we left it was about 11:00 pm so we wen to Perkins and got some food. When we got home we went to sleep. In the morning we went to see "Big Hero 6" at the movie theater, it was so good. I can't wait to do something fun again with my friend. That was so fun!! Here is a picture of "Scotty Mccreey": My favorite book (right now) is called "The Doll Graveyard". It is a very scary book about dolls in graves, a strange house, and also a dollhouse. Dolls are showing up in places when no one is moving them. The dolls have a mind of their own. Shelby and Tate (mostly Shelby) go on an scary adventure and a notebook to help them on the way. If no one is moving the dolls, then who is? This book is interesting (and freaky) till the end, it will keep you reading all the way through. A great spooky story, engaging and interesting all the way. I hope that you read and enjoy the book as much as I did. I would give it 5/5 stars! :) (This is not the book cover) "The Doll graveyard" Today, we saw a video called "I Lived" about a teenager named Bryan that had cystic fibrosis and what he has to go through everyday. He has to put on a vest that shakes him to loosen up the muscles in his lungs while he gets air through his body. This is a very powerful video and it will proboly may you feel differently about people with disease like him and others. Here is the video about Bryan: |
